Shani Sade Sati is an important astrological period in Vedic astrology. It occurs when Saturn transits the 12th, 1st, and 2nd houses from one's Moon sign, for approximately 7.5 years. This is also highly connected with one's karma and is said to cause suffering, delays, and mental tension.

Sade Sati is divided into three phases—Rising, Peak, and Setting. These are the starting, peaking, and setting stages of the cycle, which influence different aspects of life. While this period is feared due to its difficulties, it too contributes towards molding a person's character.

WHY IS THE DURATION OF SADE SATI 7.5 YEARS?
